A Silver Medal Bourbon

 

On the heels of us reporting that our Nashville brethren, Corsair Artisan Distillery, was on the shortlist for Whisky Magazine’s 2013 Icons of Whisky in two categories (Whisky Distiller  and Whisky Brand Innovator), we learned today that our fellow Nashvillians, the historically rich, yet relatively new Belle Meade Bourbon was awarded the silver medal in the 2013 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Siz has reviewed Belle Meade Bourbon and most of the team has had the pleasure of drinking it. Well, Belle Meade team, we’re proud of you and what you’re doing in our neck of the woods. It looks like Nashville ain’t all about country music any more. We’re making waves in the world of Spirits, Cigars, and Beer. And you might safely assume that we’re ecstatic about all of it!

Congrats again, Belle Meade. We’re looking forward to many more years of success!

    First I’ve heard of this brand, putting it on my buy & try list. And your headline reads ‘Sliver’ when I think you meant ‘Silver’? I’m a writer, can’t help but catch those things. 🙂
